Black Mental Health Day

Black Mental Health Day recognizes the ongoing mental health challenges faced by marginalized communities, often stemming from systemic issues such as discrimination and racism and the need for support informed by diverse lived experiences.

This day acknowledges our collective role in centring the experiences of Black, Indigenous, and marginalized students, families, staff, and community members and creating affirming, supportive, and meaningful learning environments and interactions that foster a sense of belonging and overall mental health and well-being.
